Terms of use
Bhav (“Bhav”, “we”) is a service by NIRHALIs that lets buyers send one shopping list to shops in their area and compare the prices the shops send back. By using Bhav you agree to these terms.
1. What Bhav is, and is not
- Bhav is a marketplace. We do not buy, stock, sell or deliver goods.
- When you order, the sale is between you and the shop you chose. The shop is responsible for the goods, their quality, prices, taxes, invoice and delivery.
- Shops marked “Verified” were checked by Bhav (phone call or visit). “Not verified” shops joined on their own and have not been checked yet.
2. Prices and fees
- Prices are set by each shop. Bhav adds nothing to them.
- Bhav charges buyers no fee and charges shops no commission. A shop may add a delivery charge, which is shown before you order.
- Bhav may earn from big brands through clearly marked promotions and affiliate links to large apps. This never changes the price you pay.
3. Ordering and paying
- A price is valid until the time the shop sets. Once you pay (or place a pay-on-delivery order), the shop is asked to confirm.
- Online payments are processed by Razorpay. Bhav never sees your card or UPI PIN. The money goes to the shop after the order is delivered.
- If a shop cancels a paid order, you get a full refund to the same payment method. Refunds normally reach you in 5–7 working days, depending on your bank.
- Items missing or wrong? Tell the shop first, then us through Help and complaints.
4. Things you cannot order on Bhav
Medicines and anything needing a prescription, alcohol, tobacco, and anything illegal to sell in India.
5. Rules for shops
- You must own or run the shop or business you list, and hold the licences your business needs (for food, an FSSAI registration or licence).
- Send real prices for goods you have, and deliver what and when you promised.
- Your private shop link works like a password. Keep it to yourself. Ask us for a new one if it leaks.
- Bhav may pause or remove a listing for wrong prices, poor service, complaints or misuse.
6. Big apps and chain stores
Some listings (for example large delivery apps and chain stores) are only links to their own websites. Bhav does not send them your list. Their own terms apply when you use them.
7. Liability
Bhav provides the service “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Bhav is not responsible for the goods sold by shops or for losses caused by a shop. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
8. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Thane, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
